UX/UI Designer

We’re on the lookout for a Middle UX/UI Designer who thrives in dynamic startup environments and has a passion for improving user experiences in the education industry. Careerist is an online learning platform that trains tech job seekers and automates their job applications with software, leading to faster and higher placement. It features live and self-paced training via adaptive-learning software and partnerships with third-party tutors who teach on Careerist's infrastructure. It was founded by serial entrepreneurs in 2019 and has been backed by YCombinator and other VC investors with $5M in funding.

Design intuitive, engaging user interfaces for web-based educational platforms
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
Translate complex ideas into user-friendly wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Framer
Contribute to the visual identity of the brand with graphic design support as needed
Continuously improve the user experience through research and data-driven design decisions.

2+ years of experience in UX/UI Design
Previous experience in the EdTech sector or related industries
Proven ability to work in fast-moving startup teams
Strong portfolio showcasing web design, graphic design, and Framer projects
Excellent communication skills in both English and Russian
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
