Product Designer

We are Volt! We are a dedicated development team (50 people and growing), focusing on product for Venture investment market (data analytics system with complex processes and AI). As a remote-first company, we have been working at the international market for nine years with a remote team spread across Europe and development centers in Serbia & Portugal.

We try to be as efficient as possible, and we are looking for highly effective independent employees. We are searching for a Product Designer to participate in our product aimed at collecting, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data from a large number of sources and building forecast models on its base.

You will create designs for features and will maintain and evolve our design systems (web and mobile applications) including the design of UI components and icons and maintaining design consistency across the platforms. You are an experienced UX/UI Designer who enjoys bringing conceptual thinking, clear storytelling, a strong aesthetic and the ability to simplify complex ideas to the broader team. There is a lot of opportunity to impact the UX/UI of our product, including visions of future products.

Designing interfaces for web and mobile products
Maintaining and improving existing design system
Partnering with technical team members with design for their projects
Testing, evaluating and improving existing interfaces
Creating icons
Generating ideas and contributing to the vision for future product evolution.

Portfolio with real work examples of your work
3+ years of UI/UX experience
Experience with Figma graphic design tools, creating LoFi and interactive prototypes, auto layout
Experience working in the product team together with Developers and QA Engineers
General understanding of the product development process
Understanding of patterns, best practices, and design standards across iOS, and Web
Ability to express complex ideas in writing (and orally) in brief and clearly
English at the level of documentation reading and writing.
