Design intuitive interfaces for data exploration and analysis
Create user-centered solutions that prioritize clarity and accessibility
Develop consistent visualization patterns and standards
Ensure designs effectively communicate key insights to users
Design data visualizations that will be implemented through popular BI tools, including Tableau
Create clear, effective dashboards and interactive reports
Optimize visualizations for different user needs and contexts
Establish best practices for data presentation
Balance complexity with usability in data presentations
Work closely with data analysts and subject matter experts
Participate in user research to understand information needs
Document design decisions and rationale
Utilize AI and large language models in workflow
Maintain consistent information hierarchy across products.

3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design
Demonstrated experience in information design and data visualization
Experience with Tableau
Background in public health
Strong portfolio demonstrating clear communication of complex information
Experience with Tableau and data visualization principles
Ability to translate complex data into understandable visual stories
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work with AI tools and large language models
Knowledge of public health systems and terminology
Experience with public health analytics products
Understanding of HIPAA compliance
Background in information design and human-computer interactions
Experience with user research methods.
